There's been a big change of plans for some Arkansans' summer vacations in the Florida panhandle.

Eleven-year-old Lindsey Yarbrough said, "It's pretty good except for the part that we didn't get to our original location, it got evacuated because of the tropical storm."

Yarbrough is the daughter of KARK's managing editor Greg Yarbrough. They're still trying to make the best of things in Sea Grove Florida. The island they were supposed to vacation on was completely shut down because of Tropical Storm Debby.

Other Arkansans we talked to hoped for some fun in the sun, but it's nothing but rain clouds and frowns.

Vacationing at Pensacola Beach Florida, Jacob Gates said, "This storm is crazy as you can see, it's ruined our weekend and I just hope it will go away so we can finish out the week good."
