Beware of Parking in Yards in North Little Rock

Beware of where you park your Winnebago in North Little Rock. City officials are considering an ordinance that would further crack down on people parking cars in their front yards.
Alderman Murray Witcher says he proposed an ordinance that would broaden current legislation prohibiting the parking of vehicles in front and side yards. Currently, the laws apply only to certain parts of the city.
The reasons cited include the creation of breeding grounds for mosquitoes, and the leaking of motor fluids into topsoil.
The council meets Monday to discuss the issue.
