If you're planning to camp this weekend in Buffalo National Park, park rangers say you need to be aware of a few guidelines.

Since the state in under a high wildfire danger, open fires or camp fires in the back country are under restrictions.

Open fires are only allowed at developed recreation sites. Open wood and charcoal fires are allowed on pedestal grills at developed camping areas. They also say outdoor smoking is allowed, but smokers are urged to use extreme caution when discarding cigarette butts.
