Twenty-five hot air balloons are in Little Rock and the public is invited to come out and see them.

It's all part of the Great War Memorial Balloon Race that starts this afternoon and runs through Sunday.

Some of the balloonists did a warm-up this morning in Maumelle, which attracted onlookers and their cameras.

During the event, the balloons will gracefully float across the Little Rock sky in the mornings and will "Glow" with a rainbow of illuminating colors in the evenings.

There will also be jazz music, food, vendors, and children's activities throughout the weekend.

For a $20 donation, anyone can take a ride in one of the hot air balloons.
