At least nine vehicles were rummaged through Wednesday evening in the Cloverdale and Kingwood subdivisions, according to Searcy Police Department officials.

The department received nine reports Thursday morning. Nothing valuable was reported missing, but Chief Kyle Osborne said he believes more vehicles were tampered with than reported.

"Generally with something like this, it's kids because they're looking for little items, but I can't swear to that in this case," Osborne said, adding that all vehicles were left unlocked.
