Pulaski County Humane Society Finds Abused Horse

An abandoned horse is found in north Pulaski County.
KARK 4 News was there as the horse was brought to the Pulaski County Animal Shelter and today's finding has shelter officials sending a very stern message asking owners to take care of their animals.
The horse is severely malnourished: found with no food or water.
With most of the state in a severe drought, Kay Simmons with the Humane Society says this horse wouldn't have lasted another day.
They now have the horse, and for now, are unsure about the animal's recovery process.
