West Little Rock Fire Update

Little Rock fire investigators say fireworks are to blame for a brush fire that burned nearly 20 acres in West Little Rock Wednesday night.

Captain Randy Hickmon says it took roughly 4 hours for crews to put out the fire.

Hickmon says the four young men who set off the fireworks might only face misdemeanor reckless burning charges because no buildings were threatened by the fire.

Hickmon estimates the cost to put out the fire to be in the thousands.
