Update: Man with Gun Robs McGehee Bank

The McGehee Police Department is investigating a bank robbery in the Desha County town.

Police say an armed man stepped into the First National Bank on Highway 65 about 10 o'clock this morning and demanded cash.

He was last seen running from the bank.

The gunman got away with an undisclosed amount of cash. No one was hurt.

Tthe Arkansas State Police and FBI are asking for public assistance in helping identify the suspect.

If anyone recognizes the gunman they're asked to contact the McGehee Police Department at (870) 222-3636, the Desha County Sheriff's Department at (870) 877-2327, or your nearest Arkansas State Police or FBI office.
