New Court Dates in White County Lottery Ticket Lawsuit

A lawsuit that was first in court in May over a $1 million lottery ticket will be back in court in July for a second trial.

Defense attorneys Winston Collier and Jimmy Simpson requested a new trial for their client, Sharon Jones, and White County Circuit Court Judge Craig Hannah will hear the case on July 16 and July 18.

The pre-trial hearing on July 16 will start at 1:30 p.m. and the one day trial will be held on July 18 at 9 a.m.

Both hearings will be held in the courtroom at the White County Courthouse in Searcy.
