Update: Arkansas State Police Investigating Shooting Death in Corning

Law enforcement officials in Northeast Arkansas confirm a shooting death investigation is underway in Corning (Clay County).
It happened on Park Street last night around 9:30.
No other information is being released about the incident, which is being investigated by the Arkansas State Police.
Original story (June 20, 6:30 a.m.):
A suspect is dead following an officer-involved shooting late Tuesday in Clay County, according to KAIT-TV.
According to the television station, officers responded to a disturbance call at a home. Corning police officers were confronted by a man who reportedly became violent. One of the officers shot the suspect.
KAIT reports one officer suffered a minor injury. He was not hospitalized.
The names of the officers involved and the suspect are not being released at this time.
