Update: Traskwood Murder Suspect Turns Himself in

Update (June 19):

From the Saline County Sheriff's Office:

Suspect Danny Wayne Stalnaker turned himself in at the Hot Spring County Sheriff's Office at about 3:45 P.M. 

Stalnaker is currently being transported to the Saline County Detention Center.

Original Story (June 18):

A suspect is being sought after a man found with a head wound in Traskwood died on Sunday.

The Saline County Sheriff's Office (SCSO) says it's looking for Danny Wayne Stalnaker, 64, on a 1st degree murder charge in the death of Christopher Patterson, 35.

The SCSO says on Sunday morning just before one o'clock, a Traskwood officer was called to the Saline River for an unconscious person and found Patterson.

He was lying on the ground with blood on his head. After arriving at the hospital, it was determined he had suffered blunt force trauma to the head. Patterson was taken to surgery and later died from his injuries.
