Crawford County Man Dies When Truck Goes off Road

A Crawford County man died Sunday afternoon when the truck he was riding in went off the road.
It happened just before 4:30 on State Highway 282 near Pecan Grove Road.
Arkansas State Police say Alexander Rodriguez, 22, of Rudy, was not wearing a seat belt when a 2002 Chevy Avalanche crossed the center line, rolled into a ditch and overturned.
Troopers say the driver, Francisco Ortega, 22, of Van Buren, who was also not wearing a seat belt, was taken to a Fort Smith hospital after the crash. His condition isn't known.
