OLR's Downtown LR Protest

This morning Occupy Little Rock is holding a protest in downtown Little Rock. The protest is secluded for to begin this morning at 10:30.
The exact location of the protest is not yet being revealed due to security concerns.
In May, the city evicted Occupy Little Rock from their campsite at the 3rd and Ferry parking lot.

Teacher Due in Court Monday in an Alleged Student Sex Abuse Case

This afternoon, a Cabot school teacher who has pleaded not guilty in a student sex abuse case back in March, is due in court.
Stacy Stracener, 36, will face a judge at the Lonoke County Circuit Court for a pretrial hearing.
The Cabot Junior High North science teacher was arraigned on 13 counts of sexual assault allegedly involving a 15-year-old boy and former student.
Stracener was suspended from her job after her arrest.

Opposition Group Highlights Alternative Tech Park Location

For the first time a group against proposed sites for the future Little Rock Technology Park has come up with alternative locations.
 The "We Shall Not Be Moved" collision says they don't want the park built in residential areas where homes would be demolished. On Saturday the group visited each of 7 possible sites, they believe would be a better fit for the park.
The Technology Authority Board says once the study of the current three proposed areas is complete they will take suggestions on any possible alternatives.
