On Thursday, the Central Arkansas Drug Task Force (CADTF) assisted the White County Sheriff's Office (WCSO) after a traffic stop, which led to the arrest of Tim Alan Snelson, 51, of Bradford.
The WCSO says a drug-sniffing dog led deputies to the suspected meth inside Snelson's vehicle. The suspected drugs have an approximate street value of $5,200, deputies say.
A 9 mm semi-automatic pistol was also found in Snelson's car, the WCSO said.
Snelson is charged with Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance and Simultaneous Possession of Drugs and Firearms.
He's being held at the White County Detention Center on $75,000 bond.
