Local AM Buzz: Little Rock Taking Heritage House to Court, LRSD Approves Principal Transfers

The City of Little Rock is heading to court, pursing criminal charges against the owners of the Heritage House.
The city asked a judge to shut the motel down temporarily after a little girl was found abandoned there among other serious code violations.
Now, Heritage House is accused of violating court orders, the city found evidence people were still living there.
The case heads to trial in September.
LRSD Approves Principal Transfers
The Little Rock School District, shaking things up in hopes of giving a fresh start its students.
Superintendent, Dr. Morris Holmes proposed the district shuffle 13 principal, most from elementary schools.
Dr. Holmes says his team worked for roughly four months, trying to see which principals fit which schools best.
The Superintendent says he's not cutting jobs or salaries, but hoping to get some people out of a rut.
Some parents within the district are voicing concerns about the move saying they're upset about losing their principal. A transferring principal told KARK, she's excited about the new move.
