UPDATE: Thousands in the Dark as Storms Sweep Through Central Arkansas

Tuesday Morning Update:
As of 6:45 a.m. Tuesday, nearly 9,000 Entergy customers remained without power.

Overnight storms and showers have caused new issues for crews working to restore power.

Thousands of power were in the dark Monday evening as strong storms moved through Central Arkansas.

As of 4:15 p.m., roughly 20,000 people were in the dark, according to Entergy Arkansas.

The majority of the outages were centered around Beebe, Bald Knox, and Searcy.
