It's been two years since a flash flood killed 20 people at the Albert Pike Campground in Montgomery County.

Monday marks the exact anniversary of that tragic event.

You may remember, in the early morning hours of the day, the Little Missouri River swelled from three feet to twenty in just a matter of hours.

Some campers were asleep in their tents and didn't even know what was happening until it was too late.

The campground has since re-opened for some uses. The Forest Service says they have made changes there to help keep people safe.

Some lawsuits, though, are still ongoing. They were filed by survivors who lost loved ones to the rushing waters.
