Federal Judge Declares North Little Rock School District Unitary

A major ruling by Judge D.P. Marshall officially declares the North Little Rock School District unitary.
This ruling comes after being mandated by the United States 8th District Court of Appeals. This means the North Little Rock School District (NLRSD) will no longer be subject to monitoring by the Office of Desegregation Monitor. The ruling says the " North Little Rock school board can now operate the District as it sees fit - answerable to no on except the District's students, parents, and voters."
