That makes the state's wildfire danger in the moderate range, and some parks are reminding campers to be aware of any burn bans.
At least 14 counties are under burn bans as of noon Friday (click here for latest map), according to the Arkansas Forestry Commission. Most of those counties are in North Central Arkansas.
Buffalo National River is issuing restrictions on the use of fires and smoking within the park.
The restrictions went into effect today and will remain in effect until weather conditions permit a return to normal recreational activities.
Park officials say as always, it is advised that all visitors and park neighbors use extreme caution with all fires.
Park dispatch (888-692-1162) may be called for questions relating to the ban or to report fires.
