U.S. Marshals have tracked a lady fugitive to Central Arkansas.

Christie Leann Hughes, 33, of Omaha, Nebraska was taken into custody Thursday afternoon in Garland County at her mother's home.

She was wanted on two counts of robbery and had been described by marshals as "possibly dangerous," according to the Garland County Sheriff's Office (GCSO).

Hughes tried to make a run for it when marshals showed up at her mother's house, but she was quickly caught after a foot chase.

Hughes is being held in the Garland County Jail awaiting extradition to Nebraska.
