Everyone likes a free ride, right? People headed to Riverfest will find one thanks to something that's new this year: pedicabs!

Pedicabs are human-powered bike taxis that are designed to carry passengers in a unique, environmentally friendly way.

They're being provided for free by the Kum & Go convenience store chain as part of a promotion for its exclusively-sold energy drink called Nuclear.

You'll find them along Markham Street, starting at four o'clock Friday afternoon.

Here's the full schedule:
  • Friday - 4PM to midnight
  • Saturday - 11AM to 11PM
  • Sunday - 1PM to 11PM

The Pedicab route will pick-up and drop-off festival goers at these locations:

  • Stop 1: Intersection of Louisiana Street and Markham Street
  • Stop 2: Intersection of Cumberland Street/La Harpe Boulevard and Markham Street/President Clinton Avenue
