It happened May 1st 11:00 AM ar the Valero Big Red at 601 W Broadway in North Little Rock. When the suspect entered the store he began to walk around for a while. That made the clerk suspicious. When all the customers left the store he made his move to the counter. Pulling a gun on the clerk demanding money. Police say often clerks can tell something like this is going
To happen, and that's when they need to act.
"Let us come see what's going on. Why is that person just in there walking around and not really buying anything. That's what happened in this case. The clerk did notice he was as walking around the store waiting on some customers to leave. So any time a clerk sees this, we encourage them to call us." Said Sgt. Brian Dedrick of the North Little Rock Police Department.
The pictures of the suspect are clear enough for someone to recognize him. Police say if he's willing to pull a gun, he may be willing to use it. Getting him off the street could save a life.
