Jonesboro Police are holding a man on one million dollars bond after they say he shot a woman on Jefferson Avenue earlier this month.

Brandon Kappales, 30, is charged with Battery in the First Degree, Terroristic Act, and possession of Firearms by Certain Persons.

The 23-year-old victim suffered injuries that were not life-threatening.

Police also say they have connected Kappales to another crime.  On May 14th, a car was set on fire and destroyed along that same avenue in Jonesboro.  Police say more arrests could be made in the two cases.
