Early Morning Pedestrian Train Accident in Pine Bluff

Authorities are investigating an early morning train accident in Pine Bluff. At around 3:00 am officers responded to the railroad crossing on Michigan Street.

When officers arrived they found Robert Wooten, 66, of Pine Bluff. They say he was attempting to cross one of the occupied railroad tracks when he was hit.

Wooten sustained serious injuries and was rushed into surgery at the Jefferson Regional Medical Center.
