Small Earthquake Rattles Parts of Central Arkansas

Some Central Arkansas residents may have been surprised by the ground rattling around them Wednesday morning.

The U.S. Geological Survey says a magnitude 2.5 earthquake was reported just outside the town of Rose Bud in White County. That area is roughly 40 miles northeast of Little Rock.

The tremor was reported around 10:45 a.m.

There were no reports of injuries or damage.
