Lt. James Martin with the Garland County Sheriff's Office confirms they arrested Jason Ripley, 36, just before 3:30 Wednesday morning. He was found in Sevierville, Tenn., which is east of Knoxville, near the North Carolina border.
Ripley will be charged with kidnapping and first degree battery.
Samantha Wright, 28, of Hot Springs was also arrested. She will be charged with possession of a controlled substance and hindering apprehension or prosecution -- a Class A felony.
The victim told police Ripley covered her face with a shirt and took her to the camper where he burned her with lit cigarettes and a torch. She was eventually able to escape and two deputies found her in the 3300 block of Highway 7 North.
