Two Central Arkansas High Schools Named Best in State

U.S. News and World Report has ranked the best high schools in the country and two Central Arkansas schools are among the best in the state.

U.S. News put Searcy High School and Hot Springs High School in its list of top 10 schools in Arkansas. They were the only Central Arkansas campuses to make the top 10 list.

There are 81 Arkansas schools ranked in the U.S. News Best High Schools 2012 rankings, including 2 gold medal schools, 21 silver medal schools, and 58 bronze medal schools.

Overall, Searcy High was ranked 1229 nationally. Hot Springs High took the 1385th spot.
