The new interim police chief in Sanford, Florida will be introduced this morning.
Richard Myers, a 35-year veteran of law enforcement, will replace current Chief Bill Lee who stepped aside after emotions ran high in the Trayvon Martin case.
Myers most recently served as Chief of Police in Colorado Springs.
Spirit Airlines Announces Baggage Fee Hike
Spirit Airlines announces it will soon charge up to $100 for carry-on bags that are stored in an overhead bin. Spirit is increasing the charge for carry-on bags from $ 45 to $100 for those paying at the gate.
The fee is less for people who pay at the ticket counter and even less for those who pay online.
Spirit is also increasing fees for checked bags.
"Supermoon" Returns
It's not only a full moon this weekend, it's a "supermoon." That means the moon will go full at its closest point to earth, so it will look even bigger.
This year's "supermoon" arrives tomorrow around 10:35 pm.
