Expect to pay more to fly this summer.

Ticket prices for domestic flights are about three percent higher than last year and will likely keep rising, according to USA Today. That's on top of an 18 percent hike from the year before.

International flights run about 20 percent more than they did two years ago.

One analyst tells the paper he expects airlines will try to raise prices about once a month and estimates about half of those tries will go through.

Airlines blame price hikes on rising fuel prices.
