A piece of Arkansas history up for auction in just weeks.

According to the Arkansas Historic preservation program, Stuttgart's Historic Riceland hotel is headed to the auction block .

The hotel was built in the 1920s during Stuttgart's rice boom but then came the bust.

Since then it's gone through a series of different owners until the most current one - Megamovers builders and developers which according to the Arkansas county tax collectors and assessor's office, the company has owed back taxes since 2007.

The auction for the property is expect to hit at the end of May.
