Police Lure Man Down from Top of UA Parking Garage

A man who climbed to the top of the Garland Avenue parking garage at the University of Arkansas came down overnight.
UAPD says the man gave in to negotiators around 12:07 a.m. Thursday morning.
Fayetteville and University police, along with fire and medical crews, were all on hand to aid in the situation.
The incident began just before 5:00 p.m. Wednesday. Officers spent several hours trying to coax the man down. They even called in some of the man's friends to help.
According to police officers, the man became upset after an argument with an ex-girlfriend.
The man was taken to the hospital for observation. His name has not been released.
