Arkansas River Recovery Continues Today
Search crews will head back to the Arkansas River this morning to search for a 13-year-old boy who jumped from the I-430 bridge Wednesday.
Pulaski County officials tell us the teen was apparently being driven to a rehab facility, possibly a mental health hospital, by his aunt.
She pulled over to try to talk to him, but he jumped out of the car and over the bridge.
Officials with the North Little Rock Fire Department tell us they estimate the drop to be about 60 feet.
Witnesses at the scene tell us they tried to stop the teen and that the boy is not a good swimmer.
