Because faith matters, thousands attended the annual Christmas Eve service at the Statehouse Convention Center. It's the eighth annual Church at Rock Creek Christmas Eve celebration.  Church leaders estimate 5,000 people turned out for the hour-long event. "Shopping for a Savior" was the theme of the service --  led by Pastor Mark Evans. "That's how Christmas shopping is -- it's just like shopping in life. You keep looking for the right thing and you end up frustrated," explains Pastor Evans.  KARK spoke with Mr. Evans after the service. He says many people get caught up in purchases this time of year, as a way to seek fulfillment in their lives. He suggests the answer lies elsewhere.
