Portions of the small town of Vilonia looking nothing likely they did prior to a devastating storm that struck the small community one year ago.

Last April, a twister tore through the town killing five and leaving a trail of damage behind.

Months after the storm, some residents were still living in hotels as they tried to settle insurance claims and rebuild their homes.

City officials noted many of the town's residents didn't have insurance which left them with nothing.

One year later, many are still picking up and looking for permanent solutions for the situation dealt to them by the April 2011 tornado.
