The U.S. Department of Agriculture says even though a case of mad cow disease has been discovered in California our country's food supply is safe.
The infected dairy cow was found at a transfer station in central California before the animal could enter the food supply.
The agency says that shows the testing system works and consumers should not be concerned about this one case of mad cow disease.
Clean Sweep for Romney
It's a clean sweep for Mitt Romney and he's fully embracing the status of presumptive Republican nominee.
Romney swept all five presidential primaries Tuesday, marching to victory in Pennsylvania, New York, Connecticut, Delaware, and Rhode Island.
Romney says President Obama has failed on a host of economic measures and pledged to highlight the Presidents record.
Federal Reserve Chairman Updates Interest Rates
Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke will give an update on the nation's economy today.
He'll first make a decision on whether or not to raise interest rates, then he'll hold his quarterly press briefing.
Interest rates have remained at record lows and economic conditions are expected to keep the rate low until at least 2014.
