Conway will have to wait for a new Walmart. The city's planning and development commission was set to hear plans to build a neighborhood Walmart Monday night, but the hearing is being pushed back.

Critics argue the proposed Neighborhood Market would generate 24-hour traffic and congestion problems along Prince Street.

Walmart asked the city for an extension to continue working with a nearby church that opposes the site. The board will vote on the new Walmart May 21st.
