"I'm still a Razorback fan and I think everything will work out," said Robin McClure.
Despite the focus of the Razorback Nation moving off the field this week, fans filled the stands Friday to watch their beloved Razorbacks practice and some say they are hoping for the best when it comes to Petrino's fate.
"He deserves a second chance for what he's done for our program," said Robinson.
"Everybody makes mistakes and I don't think you should hold that against anyone. We're all human and we all make mistakes...He's a great coach and that's not going to change how he coaches," said Amy Wagner.
"I don't really think that he should be fired, I think that maybe a couple game suspension," said Rowdy Bartlett.
Others say Petrino has lost their trust.
"I think they need to take action," said Bartlett.
"I do understand if they do decide to let him go, you know, I think it does merit that possibility...Him lying, you know, not telling the truth to Jeff his superior, you know, that take a lot away from him, you can't really trust him anymore...He's going to have a lot of trust issues. He's going to have to deal with, you know, rebuilding relationships with his team, his family, the fans, you know it's going to be a great effort on his part," said Robinson.
But everyone we spoke with says no matter what, they will be sticking by their Hogs.
"I've always been a Razorback fan, never going to change, no matter who's coaching or what's going on," said Kacey Sawyer.
"Support the Hogs, let the healing begin," said Lee Crafton.
"You can't really take it out on the team," said Bartlett.
"Once a Razorback fan, always a Razorback fan, it's never going change your mind. If you have a heart then you love the Hogs, you're not going to leave them," said Wagner.
