Governor Huckabee told Arkansas higher education officials today that hell try to help get more money for colleges. But the educators will have to work hard themselves to convince the Legislature to find the money. Huckabee asked trustees and presidents of Arkansas universities to join with him in lobbying legislators. He told them that he cant muster support from the House and Senate by himself. The group gathered at a hotel in North Little Rock for its annual meeting.
