Philander Smith Choir To Perform At Carnegie Hall

The Philander Smith Collegiate Choir will make its Carnegie Hall debut on Sunday. The choir from the Little Rock college will appear in the MidAmerica Production of Poulencs "Gloria." The choir has received several honors and performed in many venues, including the recent dedication of the Clinton Presidential Library. The group also has performed at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C., the Crystal Cathedral in Garden Grove, California, and has performed Faures Requiem with opera legend Jessye Norman.
