CDI's Ongoing Financial Fiasco Heading to Court

Eight Child Development, Incorporated employees are taking their fight to federal court because they still have not been paid for work done in January.
In January, the Russellville- based non-profit saw a financial shortfall and couldn't make payroll. That left many employees only getting paid for three days out of an entire month.
CDI provided federally-funded Head Start and Early Head Start programs in 26 centers across the state.
According to the suit, plaintiffs say they've incurred damages like penalty fees, and aside from not being paid, say CDI didn't contribute to retirement or insurance premium plans, despite withholding funds from payroll since at least November.

Demolition is set for May.
