Hog Football Player Kane Whitehurst Arrested

Arkansas redshirt freshman wide receiver Kane Whitehurst was arrested early Sunday morning by the University of Arkansas Police Department for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
According to the police report. UAPD received a report of a black BMW squealing its tires and traveling at an high speed through the Garland Avenue parking garage around 3:30 this morning.
Officers spotted the car and pulled Whitehurst over where they found a pipe, grinder and a small bag of marijuana inside the vehicle.
Whitehurst was arrested and taken to the Washington County Jail where he was booked.
Whitehurst was released earlier this afternoon after posting a $1,320 bond.
The freshman from Alpharetta, Georgia redshirted last year for the Razorbacks.
