Highway Department Measures Traffic Flow In Little Rock

By: Greg Yarbrough
Updated: March 29, 2012

You may have noticed some cables across the road all over Little Rock the last few days.  We noticed them and wondered what they were.  So we called the city and the state highway department.  They said the state takes surveys of how many cars travel on roads all over the state.  Those numbers are used to try to control traffic flow and tell cities and states when adjustments may need to be made to roads.  If you would like to look at the traffic information for your area click here.
