A Silver Alert has been issued for a missing Ouachita County man who walked away from his home.

Grady Arnold, 77, of Stephens, was last seen on Wednesday afternoon in his front yard.

He was last seen wearing a red and brown plaid jacket, green shirt, gray slacks, camouflage hat and brown house shoes.

Arnold is 5'6" and weighs about 160 pounds.

The Ouachita County Sheriff's Office (OCSO) says family members told deputies that Arnold normally walks daily from his home to the home of a relative who lives just a few doors down.

Family members say Arnold has some heart problems, sometimes suffers from dementia and may be in the early stages of Alzheimer's.

Arnold might have taken his rifle and a hunting chair with him, so friends and family have been searching area woods on ATV's with no success.

The OCSO says two dogs that normally follow Arnold everywhere have also not been found.

If you've seen him, call the Ouachita County Sheriff's Office at (870) 231-5300.
