Update: Inmate Accidentally Released from Jail, Back in Custody

Boykins was accidentally released from the Pulaski County jail at 4 o'clock Saturday morning after he was arrested by North Little Rock Police on an outstanding warrant. He also has warrants from Little Rock, Searcy, Conway County, Hot Spring County & parole.
Back in June of last year, Boykins escaped from the Hot Spring County jail by climbing out through the roof. Then, he was serving an 80 year prison sentence on cocaine and firearms possession convictions. Click here to read more on that story.

Boykins current charges would not have allowed him to be released.
Sheriff's Office investigators are actively working the incident in an effort to locate Boykins. An internal investigation will also be initiated regarding Boykins' release.
