The First United Methodist Church in Little Rock brought in some modern music Sunday morning.

Communion service included a soundtrack by the band U2.

"U2charist" is a eucharist, or communion service featuring songs and videos.

Organizers say the church and the band share a message of global reconciliation, justice for the poor and oppressed, and the importance of caring for your neighbor.

Offerings collected at this morning's special service will go towards the global effort called Imagine No Malaria, and locally the methodist family health program will benefit.
