The wild bird has tried to take over a woman's yard, but she's putting up a fight.
The male turkey has been wandering around her yard recently and attacks her.
When a local television station stopped by for a report on the situation, the cameraman also became a target as the gobbler took a peck at him too.
"He definitely keeps me on my toes," says homeowner Edna Geisler.
She says the 35-pound hellraiser thinks her yard is his territory.
"He was taking the grill tarp off. And I hollered at him to stop it and everything and I think he got mad at me," she says.
He comes out of the woods around seven o'clock in the morning and stays until seven o'clock at night, Geisler says.
The 40 feet from her house to her car can be a dangerous journey. She arms herself with a broom or umbrella to keep the territorial tom at bay.
The woman has decided not to call animal control, but instead try to peacefully co-exist with her new neighbor, hoping he will head back into the woods very soon.
