In trouble with the law? Not as many people are taking advantage of the amnesty program with the city of Little Rock as you might think.

Judge Alice Lightle tells KARK since March 5th only six people have showed up to pay old fines owed to the criminal court bringing in a total of 2,475 dollars.

Lightle started the program so citizens, who have outstanding fines or court costs, could come forward and pay them off without fear of going to jail.

If you think you may be eligible, you still have time to pay your fines without a trip to jail. .The program ends April 28th.
