Ten Arkansas Counties under Burn Bans

Ten Arkansas counties are under burn bans.

Dry, windy weather is making some areas extremely vulnerable for wildfires and the wildfire danger is high in 74 of the state's 75 counties, according to the Arkansas Forestry Commission.

The burn bans are in effect in the following counties:
Baxter, Boone, Cleburne, Garland, Independence, Marion, Newton, Searcy, Stone, and Van Buren.
