KARK Names Austin Kellerman News Director

KARK-TV announced today that Austin Kellerman has been appointed News Director for the Little Rock NBC affiliate (DMA 56). Kellerman will oversee all news content on KARK, KARZ and the digital platform, ArkansasMatters.com.

Kellerman comes to Little Rock after serving as News Director for KTAB (CBS) and KRBC (NBC) in Abilene, Texas (DMA 164). Prior to that he worked as Morning Show Executive Producer for KTVT (CBS) in Dallas, Texas (DMA 5) and Executive Producer at KTAL (NBC) in Shreveport, LA (DMA 83).

"I couldn't be more excited about making Little Rock our new home," Kellerman said. "I've closely followed the great work being done at KARK for many years and always aspired to join the team. I look forward to working with a dedicated group of journalists and bringing viewers across Central Arkansas an exciting and innovative product to watch."

Austin Kellerman officially starts as News Director on March 5, 2012.
