Diamondhogs Move Up To 10th In National Polls

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - The new college baseball polls were released on Monday with Arkansas ranked No. 10 in Baseball America, Collegiate Baseball and the USA Today/ESPN Coaches poll. The Razorbacks are 13-1 on the season after winning the First Hawaii Title Rainbow Baseball Tournament last week in Honolulu with a 4-1 record. Arkansas moved up one spot in the Baseball America poll and four spots in the USA Today/ESPN Coaches rankings. The biggest leap came in the Collegiate Baseball poll where the Hogs jumped nine spots. Georgia Tech is the consensus No. 1 in all three polls. Tennessee is the top-ranked SEC club at No. 5 in the Baseball America rankings. Tennessee, LSU, South Carolina and Arkansas are all ranked among the nations top 10. Former No. 1 Florida, Ole Miss and Mississippi State are also ranked among the top 25. The Hogs are home this weekend to take on Cal State-Northridge with game times at 12:35 p.m. on Friday, 12:05 p.m. on Saturday and 1:05 p.m. on Sunday.
